more rabbit pondering

I have realized that without a cell phone I want to do more non phone related things, like I like looking up at the sky,I miss taking pictures with my phone yes but isn’t that what my camera is for, isn’t that what 100 dollars worth of, memory card charger, the camera itself  shipping and handling was for to be able to take pictures without my phone, to be able to get up and go take pictures and come back without a second thought, to go on walks to take pictures and to just enjoy not being stuck to facebook and see the world around me without having to worry what everyone else is doing or how they feel, wasn’t that the point of the camera not to be so horribly vein and narcissistic that I need to be in every picture taken by me. I would like to have a working phone yes but not if it means I pack on another 100 pounds and become to big to function, there used to be a time where the only function your cell phone had was calling and the screen only showed the numbers and you had to memorize your  contacts to call them and i’m only in my 20s. I know to some that’s old and that Im talking crazy, but I can recall in high school there was a kid  that said if he lived in the stone age to pass time he would listen to the radio in a rock, but could tell me every function his iphone had… and another one told the class that in Africa they talk in clicks and use shit for perfume but knew what jz wore the night before, shouldn’t our knowledge be the other way around shouldn’t we know more about the civilizations and cultures of our world inhabitants instead of the vanity of the famous thing of the month.

  1. Having read this I thought it was rather enlightening. I appreciate you finding the time and effort to put this content together. I once again find myself personally spending way too much time both reading and leaving comments. But so what, it was still worthwhile!

  2. I have not checked in here for some time since I thought it was getting boring, but the last several posts are really good quality so I guess I’ll add you back to my everyday bloglist. You deserve it my friend. :)
